Utrecht: the city and campus

Utrecht city

Utrecht is a lively city in the geographical centre of the Netherlands, with a rich historical background dating back to the time of the Roman settlements. Utrecht is the fourth largest city in the Netherlands and with no less than 30,000 of its inhabitants being students it is a real student city. The city has something to offer for everyone, whether you like to visit a nice museum, go out for shopping, watch a movie, have a nice dinner or relax on a terrace with your friends.  If you would like to learn more about the city and its possibilities for you as a (international) student, check out the following websites:

Students do not have to go to the city centre to get involved in culture or sports. Utrecht University has its own cultural centre – Parnassos which provides students with plenty of opportunities to explore their talents in the performing arts by creative workshops. And the campus at the “Uithof” provides them with excellent sports facilities at Olympos .

Utrecht campus
