The master Neuroscience & Cognition is one out of eleven research master programs provided by the Graduate School of Life Sciences (GS-LS). Both the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU) and Utrecht University participate in the programs of this School.
The subjects (all taught in English) range from well-established to advanced theories, ideas and techniques within the domain of Life Sciences. All research master programmes are interdisciplinary in nature and are generally the first step towards a research career. This could for instance be as PhD student in the corresponding PhD-programme of the GS-LS.
The GS-LS itself is one of the six graduate schools of Utrecht University. All educational programs meet stringent quality criteria. Students may expect mostly small-scale and challenging teaching activities by professional and inspiring teachers, who provide careful guidance and invite students to discuss scientific issues
