If you meet the requirements for the master program Neuroscience & Cognition, you can apply for the program. There are three main categories of students, each of these categories have to apply via Studielink but have different application deadlines:
- Dutch students with a Dutch bachelor degree: deadline April 1st
- Dutch students with a foreign degree: deadline April 1st
- Foreign students:
- ‘Early bird’ deadline for students who wish to apply for scholarships elsewhere or need an early notification of admission: December 1st
- Main deadline for students who completed their previous education outside the Netherlands: April1st
- Main deadline for all foreign students who completed their previous education in the Netherlands: deadline April 1st
Students who apply in combination with an Erasmus Mundus application have to use the ‘applying UU’ procedure
Once your complete application via Studielink has been received (online application, additional documentation and application fee), the UU Admissions Office will assess your application to see if you meet the general entry requirements. Your application will then be sent to the selection committee of the master Neuroscience & Cognition. The selection committee assesses all applications, taking into consideration the above mentioned selection criteria. The top 55 applicants will be selected. If you are selected you will receive an authorisation form which you have to complete and return to Utrecht University. As soon as the completed form is received, you are registered at Utrecht University and you can start with the master program.
If you have registered using Studielink, we would like to ask you to notify us via Contact, so that we know that you have submitted your admission request and we can track your application.
