Students can enrol in the program at the start of each academic year. To be admitted to the program each student
- has to write a letter, motivating why he/she is interested in entering this master program,
- hand in his/her resume, including the grades received during the bachelor studies, and
- motivate his/her interest in neuroscience based on past performance
Foreign students additionally have to hand in a letter of recommendation and are invited for a personal interview by telephone.
The program is open to UU-bachelors of biomedical sciences, biology, pharmacy, medicine, veterinary sciences, physics, linguistics and social sciences, and for students from other Dutch universities and international students with comparable qualifications. Annually, the program has a maximal acceptance of 55 students of which 15 places are reserved for international students.
