The master Neuroscience & Cognition is one out of eleven research master programs provided by the Graduate School of Life Sciences (GS-LS). Both the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU) and Utrecht University participate in the programs of this School. The master confers to the rules and regulations as set by the Board of Studies of the school.

The overall responsibilty of the master program lies with the director of the program, Prof. dr. Marian Joƫls.

The day to day routine and all (general) matters concerning the Master’s students are in the hands of the general master coordinator, Dr. Geert Ramakers. The more indepth and personal guidance of the master students is taken care of by the two master coordinators: Dr. Pierre de Graan for the Experimental and Clinical Neuroscience track and Prof. dr. Albert Postma for the Cognitive Neuroscience track.

Students also take responsibility via an organisation called the ”student representatives”.
